There was a moment where I realised that only two things matter in life: the ultimate essence is to love and through love to express passion. My expression of passion consists of various facettes, which manifests itself in the art I create.

Having grown up in a country like Switzerland with endless opportunities, I felt tempted to start a journey outside my comfort zone. Art it was.

After trying out various first techniques from my tiny room at home, it was clear to me that this needs a different space, where I could fully disconnect from my usual environment and also be able to paint larger formats. So, I signed my first studio contract which filled me with immense pride.

My art tells the story of a world, where everything can be switched off. It is a world in which constant distraction and noise numb our perception and ability to either focus on one thing or fully switch off. Sometimes people ask me what my source of inspiration is, I have a simple answer to that: I fully disconnect and immerse myself in a thoughtless world, where creativity finds its own ways. Those who can relate to my artwork are looking to find a visual space which allows them to forget about everything around them for a moment. A moment, which only art can create.

It fascinates me to hear the conversations people hold about art and what it can trigger in them. I see it also as the role of my art to induce a dialogue between the visual and spectator, but also between spectators themselves.
